It's funny you say Hi-Rev, I've seen this in action and it pushes really well but really gets up and is very strong off the breakpoint.  Very assymetrical looking in it's breakpoint(accelleration and strong angle).  For the heavy handed player(like you Al ), I would look at something like the Big Block Diesel, just take the shine off of it with 1500grit abralon, or a Pure Hammer in box condition if you can still find them.  Or just look for whatever is in their lineup with the lowest RG that is not Symmetrical(do not look at any of the Deals, much too sharp off the breakpoint for what you are looking for).

JPR, i second that....though the numbers arent close, ive thrown both and i love the reaction from both. The blade flips a bit more even though both were drilled the same, but i would think that these 2 are almost the same.

Yeah wasn't going numbers, but you got multiple similarities, simple effective core,long lasting versatile solid resin cover.  Durability, Dependability, Predictability.

I called it an "Assymetric Look" because assymetrics are designed to give you more torque off the breakpoint and the ability to manipulate the shape of your breakpoint based on drilling.  This ball's strength off the breakpoint mimmicks a strong assymetrical reactive with the MB in the strongest position without being assymetrical.

The high rev's I've seen have all had a "heavy roll" (ala v2) to them. Maybe the difference in players throwing it is affecting our judging though.

Thank you for everyones reply.I also had a feeling that the High Rev would be the resin version of a V2, but what about a particle version of V2 from hammer? The reason why I ask about a particle version because resin can be a little funk at the break point at times?

For the V2 particle to a hammer product i dont have a good answer for. Ive never seen a V2 particle in action, though im guessing it would have  nearly the same reaction of the V2 sanded due to same core. If you are going by numbers, the closest thing in the Hammer line up would be the Deal though it was discontinued.

Sorry i coudnt be any more help to you because i dont know anyone with a V2 particle. You would have to take the shine off of the deal to use it comparing to the V2 particle.

The v2 particles we had done up had more length than the reactive. I personally owned both and found it to hold true. For me with the same drilling the particle was about 2' longer with a decent arc on the back. Loved both but sold the particle as cover weakended a bit after games and the reactive was still strong. For me I still believe 3-4 V2 solids drilled and cover prepped differently would get you through 90% of the conditions you will encounter.
