You are correct that it has the blade core but the Doom has the enhanced max flip reactive so it is different. The Vibe is listed as having the max flip reactive so it might be identical. Bowlingball dot com lists the TR as a much bigger hooking ball than the Vibe which makes me think maybe the TR uses a solid version and the Vibe a pearl version of the max flip reactive. I'm not sure, though.

cool thanks for pointing that out. i wonder how it rolls?

4eyes,
Why would you compare the TR SE with a ball that doesn't even share the same core shape such as the Vibe?
While the cover is the majority of the balls reaction, the core will have the second greatest influence on the reaction.
The core appears to be very close to what you'd find in the Blade Pearl. I think you'd find this coverstock is able to handle more oil than the one found on the Blade Pearl with a similar reaction. A friend of mine said that the Vibe was one of the most underrated entry level balls they'd ever used.

I wrote that "The Vibe is listed as having the max flip reactive cover so it might be identical". I just meant that the cover might be identical.
I'm sure the ball reaction will be different because the core is different but I'm not sure exactly what effect it will have. My brother just bought the TR and already has the Vibe so I will learn more as I watch him throw these two.

Tomb Raider S.E. = Switch Blade Core w/ the Vibe Coverstock

Yes, there is enough oil and no, the ball is not rolling-out.
Is that your answer to everything in life?
Read my profile and you'll see why I can honestly say this.
