Where is the love for the Acid
« on: October 08, 2009, 02:00:00 PM »
This ball is IMO, one of the best on the market. It can handle all but the extremes. For the average league bowler, you are looking at a 1 ball arsenal. Where are all the Hammerheads on this ball?

I can see no love. I will stock up on these as they are sure to be discontinued.

I've seen the Burn and that ball rolls great. Maybe that is the answer.

Yes, but a solid always rolls better than a pearl unless all you are looking for is backend.

I guess you haven't thrown a pearl in the last 5 years or so?

Pearls don't always go long and flip, particles don't always roll early...  So many strong balls either pure pearl or have pearl mixed in them.  You can't assume a ball's reaction purely on what it's made of now a days.

A pearl will always have a stronger backend reaction than a solid. Just the nature of the beast.

The Acid is a ball that I HAVE in my bag at all times for all patterns. It is very underrated ball, yet I can use this ball to see what my next move will be in my arsenal. I have 2 Acids now, and love them both. Plan on getting a few more to keep in my closet for the future, just in case these discontinue, which I don't see happening anytime soon. With all of the recent release of Hammer balls, I am really looking forward to what Hammer will be releasing in the near future. Keep up the awesome job Mr. Ussery!
