I really wish they wouldn't have made EVERY single shot on the fresh shot slow down at some point in the shot. First time i've ever been dissapointed with a video on buddies. Ball looks similar to the BW, but it's supposed to be similar. Better looking anyway!

I have to agree with bassdozer on this one,ball does way too much the same as the Black Widow Solid,same black ball,same color engravings but with a few silver swirls in it.

I wish they woulda brought the Black Widow Sting to the US,what a beauty of a ball.

Yep, they all look the same. I love buddies videos but I wish they put the balls on a shot that would actually show the differences in them.

Not taking anything away from Britton, hes a great guy and has a great game. That said, I know whats going to happen in his videos (any vids for that matter) before I even watch it.

Hello

Thanks Brit for posting the video.

Bowlers, we understand that many of the videos look the same. Our biggest issue is that our center is extremely busy and it is very difficult for us to get them to put out other patterns. This is something that even frustrates us. Our house pattern has a large puddle in the middle of the lane. So what I can tell everyone is that the first thing I noticed about the Bite is how quickly it broke down the puddle. It sucks oil off the lane very fast. This did not happen with the original widow. Also, even though it is hard to see in the video the Bite is definitely stronger overall then the original. Sorry I know longer have an original in my bag to compare. Another thing that the videos can't tell or show is that our center does have more oil this year then last (I know Graham and Farley, thats hard to imagine).

We will be posting another Bite video from one of our Hammer Staff members. He is punching up three of them and will have other hammer balls to compare it to. He is a lower rev player but hopefully this will help show a difference between the solid and the bite.

Thank you to everyone for your support and your suggestions on how to better our video system.

so it sucks up oil? does that mean this ball requires extra maintence to keep it clean?

As far as I can see, the Bite is exactly what Hammer advertised to us. It's a
slightly stonger version of the original Widow and that's a good thing. Hammer needs something to replace the original Widow because they can't keep on producing it forever. The Bite is a perfect replacement. It has the same weight block and a more aggressive cover.

What was everyone expecting? Something with a completely different reaction than the best selling Hammer ball on the market.

I will also be doing a Bite Video, in mine i will be comparing the Solid, Pearl and Bite, all with the same 3 layouts...on a THS and a PBA pattern, so stay tuned there is more to come from Videoballreviews and Buddies!
