Hey all its me again. Saturday the 7th I bowled in a Bowl Swami tounament for Michigan High School bowling. I rolled with our JV team despite me having the highest average of both Varsity and JV. The tournament started with 3 singles games. My first game I shot 250. Second game I shot 255. And third game I shot 201. After every game we had to change lanes so this was over a course of 3 sets of lanes. Anyways I ended up winning with a 706, which is only my 2nd 700 series ever. My other 7 came during a Saturday morning league this year. Back to what I was talking about though the 2nd place guy had shot 641 and was a Junior. He said I was really good and when a couple of the medal placing guys asked me what year i was because they hadn't seen me before I told them I was a Freshman and they were impressed.
A kid I bowl with, Anthony Mazza, his dad is John Mazza, former PBA tour member and the 2nd person ever to pick up the 7-10 split. Well Anthony and I have become very good friends and he introduced me to his dad and I just about had a heartattack! I've seen the 7-10 videos and when I saw Mr. Mazza I knew it was him. He congratulated me on my series and he said he was scouting me and he would be in touch as far as if I need some advice I could call and talk to him. This is the first professional bowler I've ever met and John Mazza is by far one of my bowling idols!
