Your States High School Bowling Patterns
« on: January 21, 2016, 04:27:37 PM »
Trying to build a spreadsheet by state of what your High School Varsity Team bowls on for there regular meets.  Here in Michigan most all use a house pattern I have been told.  Does your state use a house pattern or a sport shot.  Just list your state and the pattern for regular season meets, if you would please. For our Regionals and State Tournaments we do use a sport type shot.  Thanks.

Still looking for some other states to place some info in with regards to what pattern they use for Varsity High School meets.  House pattern or sports.  Got 11 states to respond quickly, but then things slowed down. How bout some more states checking in, it would be appreciated.  Thanks for the info.

I think there might only be 23 states with high school bowling according to this site www.uhssbf.org

I know California doesn't have any

In Michigan, regular matches are bowled on house shots. Most tournaments, including the varsity finals, bowl on the Kegel created "Allen" pattern.
Balls: Motiv Trident Abyss, Motiv Golden Jackal, Motiv Hydra and Motiv Hyper Sniper. All made in the USA.
