15lb 3-4 in pin 3.25 top wght drilled for instant roll. extremely hard hitting ball.  when it hits the pocket nothing and i mean nothing is left standing.  If u miss left tho reload probably a full rack will still be there to spare on tho not forgiving if u miss left.  very good ball for right person

15lb
pin 3-4
600 grit polished
The first time I got this ball I couldnt get it too work for on my house shot which was a medium-dry kind of condition. I took the time to use a 1200 grit abralon pad on this ball but it lost it's backend causing it to burn out too quickly. So I decided to put a 600 grit polish on it to help the ball go longer and store more energy. It sure was a great move because the new surface has let me use this ball on a variety of lane conditions.

15#

This was my first Lane#1 ball.  I was hoping it was going to be a good one, and it is even better then I expected.

My proshop guy dulled the ball up a bit to try to match my style a little more.  The ball moves very well in fresh oil, medium oil, and even a dryer shot.

The one big thing I noticed with this ball vs my Raging inferno, was the noise it made when hitting a strike.  I swear it almost sounds like a brick wall being knocked down.  This ball hits very hard.  Even on my light hits pins went flying.

I would recommend this ball to anyone, it is well worth the money.

16 lb., 3oz. top, 3" pin
I have wasted incredible amounts of time and money trying numerous other brands (Brunswick, Roto-grip and Track)and working way too hard to carry my current 205 average.  I have had this ball two weeks and I am still in shock since my lowest game has been a 194 (first game out of the box in league with no practice).  Following that game, I have had a 278, two 269s, several 250s and 240s.  Strings of strikes are very common.  I can smell a 300 from here.  It is just plain scary how versatile this ball is for me.  I can play any line with power, and I have found that I do not need to switch balls anymore as the lanes dry up and/or the carrydown gets squirrelly.  When its really dry, I simply crack my wrist to take revs. off the ball and it still strikes with authority.  When I tried this with other high power balls in my past, I could get the ball to the pocket but the hit was flat or "cream puff" commonly leaving an 8 or worse an 8-10.  Those days are over!  Incredibly, I can even convert 10 pin spares with this ball.  I stopped taking my 4-ball roller to the lanes as this is the ONLY ball I need.  I will definitely save my money in the future and BUY Lane #1 products.

MAYBE THE DRILL PATTERN?

SPECS: Fingers next to the pin with the MB (I know it is not marked) out about 2 inches PAP was about 4 1/2 to 5 inches if memory serves correctly

LUCKY STRIKE LANES: What a house, very old wood lanes in decent shape. Oil heavy in the middle and a little less outside down about 40 feet stripped every other week, I liked to use this after the owner stripped them for us, played about 12 at the arrows and 1-4 at the break point, Well the ball got down through the oil well never revved early and when it hit the break it always turned over quick and easy no hesitation. Hit and carry were tremendous everything went straight back, i don't think the it hit as hard as my MoRich stuff but it was just about as effective, very forgiving with the amount of oil on the lane overall on this shot I was relatively impressed!

SABRE LANES: Oil who knows well it was medium through the middle and pretty dry outside old wood lanes in crappy shape, I was using this ball in a Scratch Summer League at this house at first I was impressed then later not so much. The first week I played deeper than most about 17 out to 12 or so ball went down about 40-43 feet and swung back in a crushed the pocket. I noticed some things that bothered me though ball was not nearly as forgiving, as at Lucky Strike and it tended to struggle to get back into the pocket if I screwed up.
As the weeks went the house started putting a little more juice on the lane and the ball just didn't have anything it revved up but didn't move no matter where I throw it how slow or how hard I throw the ball.

SUPER BOWL: Summer shot is dry outside oil in pretty much your standard league shot, On the fresh shot it was awesome had a decent amount of room to use, and the ball was just hurting the pins, I noticed that when the lane began to go into transition the ball lost alot of reaction and I couldn't get it back no matter how much I moved and adjusted hmm curious.

OVERALL: I was not really impressed by this ball but it is not the worst ball I have ever throwen. If the lane condition was just right the ball was a dream if not put it away you won't be able to touch it. The Hit and carry in all houses was great not explosive but very effective kept pins low and moved them around very well, great for light mixers When the ball hooked it hooked great a drove through the pins like they were paper. I got rid of this thing awhile a go could have used it in Shawano for my Masters league
(Hi Brenda ) it would have worked like a dream however I found some other dtuff that worked better on more conditions and I got rid of it.

dizzle247 I have to disagree with you!!!! I am a high speed 17-20 mph with bout 350-400 revs and my LANE 1 balls are excellent.  I've been throwing Saws for 6 yrs now and have had only two balls that didn't fit my style and those were the G-Force Solid and the Enriched Uranium!!!! I am getting the BCB from BeansProShop sometime in the next few weeks, I will post my review on this Gem..Can't wait.

Thanks Lane 1 for Awesome Equipment and Thanks Beans for my new BCB

LANE CONDITION

Length:38ft THS

Volume:moderate out of bounds about 10

Type (THS, Sport Pattern etc):have tried on both

COMMENTS

Likes:love the easy length and smooth arc  once this ball makes it transistion to the spot it makes a big move off the spot and is very continous through the pin deck. versatile i can go15 to ten straight up 12 or swing it farther if the conditions call for it. great hitting power

Dislikes: non at all or that they have quit making them
