All I have to say about this ball is "WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW". I got this puppy used from ebay and had it plugged and drilled yesterday. Lanes were synthetic with flooded with oil with somewhat of a "NONE BACKEND". I had to play the 3 board from the right standing on the 20th board. This ball goes long..... and then WHAMMM..snaps to the pocket. My first 3 games wasn't that good (190's), but after that the ball starts to read the lane better and I shot a 299, and 275 after that. Great ball if you want length and screaming backends..

This ball has been discontinued, but if you can find one in good shape on eBay or at a yard sale, buy it. I threw this ball for two years and loved everything about it.

The only negative is how fast the coverstock wears out. Appearance-wise, it goes quicker than most. Mine also lost a lot of grippiness after about 100 games. But it still carried like a truck until the day I gave it away to a beginner bowler.

Just shot my first ever 800 series (808) this past weekend with the Cherry. I have two of them and they are absolutely the two hardest hitting balls I have ever owned. If you can find one new (good luck!!!) or one that is used and in good shape BUY IT!!!!

BOWLER STYLE
Rev Rate - medium
Ball Speed - medium

SURFACE PREPARATION
Grit – 320 wet/dry sandpaper + compound + secret sauce
Type (Matte, Polish, Sanded) - polished

LANE CONDITION
THS – tried on it on dry, medium, and fresh

BALL REACTION
Length – long!
Back End – strong!
Overall Hook – as strong as you need it to be, depending on your release
Midlane Read - excellent
Breakpoint Shape – smooth, continuous, and mostly on the backend

COMMENTS
Carry – better than anything I've ever thrown
Likes - everything
Dislikes – that I didn't get this ball NIB
Other – This is the most amazing ball my hands have ever touched. I picked it up in a trade and have had about 6-7 chances to use it. After my third outing I threw it on the spinner, ran 320 grit wet/dry sandpaper over it, compound, and a nice thick coat of the Secret Sauce.

The next day I took it to the lanes and shot 234 and 221 then had to run. Keep in mind my highest game is 247. This ball hits so hard and keep the pins so low it should be illegal. The first 4 times I used it I threw two 7-baggers.

But with the Secret Sauce I really saw what this ball can do. With this drilling the ball is all about length and backend, and the Sauce smoothed out the backend motion with devastating results. I was standing on 28 and throwing it up the third arrow for a down-and-in shot. Or I could stand in the same spot and throw it out to break at 10 and watch it come back to the pocket perfect. No squirliness that comes from other pearls.

Thank you Lane #1! Please bring back the C2 core!
