Lefty, medium high speed, 30 degrees axis rotation, medium revs...
Ball is 15.3 pounds, with 3 ounce top weight, pin appears to be 3 inches. Ball is drilled label leverage, pin about inch to the side of my ring, with CG in my palm.
The Good: Attractive ball, clean through the heads for the most part. This ball hits very hard, sending the pins in a mix. I have scouts and messengers hitting from everywhere. Ball revs pretty early in relation to its RG/diff and gets about 4-6 inches of flare. Very grippy on the dry, with the combination of the flippy core, tends to snap hard on the pocket. Reads the lane very well for a skip/flip ball.
The Bad: Spotty or very dry heads, excessive carry down and floods. The ball can also enter the pocket at such extreme angles that it may leave some funky splits if you come in heavy or light. Also as the cover wears down, the ball starts to hook much earlier and the breakpoint softens considerably...
The Ugly: Price, I guess, but in this case, you really get what you pay for.
Factory finish...
42 Foot Sport shot, with heavy oil, gutter to gutter...: Played the twig with this ball to get it to the pocket. Skidded and skidded through the oil, the picked up a good snap in the back. On this shot though, the ball offered no room for forgiveness, so I moved inside, and through it out of the third arrow. The ball didn't recover quite strong enough for a consistent hit. Only condition where my Blue Berry out hooks it...
Flooded THS Fine if I played the twig, but would get some over/under in the back of the lane.
38 foot ths, stripped back ends: Incredibly length through down the lane, even with the short pattern. Ball skids/skids/skids/snaps. Explosive power in the back, huge entry angle (something I really am not good a creating).
42 foot ths, light carrydown: Ball handles light carry down fine, played middle out to the 5-6 board, great length, huge back end. Its a fun ball to watch because you can see it flare then flip. Great hitting power on this condition.
Length 1-10: 9
Hook 1-10: 9
Breakpoint angle, smooth to snap 1-10: 8.5
Versatility: (haven't tried to much in the realm of coverstock prep) ?
Great ball, cool looking hit. Usually the first ball outta my bag...
