I have had my BD for a month now. My Speed is 17-18 Rev rate matches speed. 325-350. Pap 5 3/8----> 1/2^.
15# 3 oz, 3 1/4 top pin 3-4.
With this ball I was wanting something that would go down long and have a nice even recovery on the back end.
I ended with the pin in the middle of my middle finger, drilled it out, kicked my cg over as far as I could to be inline with my mid grip. I needed a weight hole with this drill. I placed it in the P3 area of the gradient line. 9/16 about 1" deep. statics ended 1/2 finger, 1/2 + side.
This ball clears the heads very very smooth, it has a great read once it encounters the friction, it is not jumpy but it has a very powerful move. I can play a little straighter on the fresh oil, and open it up as the night goes on. The ideal line for it with me is 13 to 5 with a nice arc. But once it dries out I can take it more inside and go 20 to 10 with it. It has a nice recovery if I go out of 10. If you tug it, it holds the line and sits in the pocket.
This ball is very versatile, you can play the lane just about any where and have a good look to the pocket. But for the ball to really shine it needs to be used on med/med heavy oil. It doesn't have the over under that I thought it may have but it rolls very consistant in all phases of the ball.
If you have a RD then this ball is a great complement to it, The line you start with the RD can be followed up with the BD when the RD is to much.
This would be a great addition to anyones bag to get them a great push through the heads like a pearl and the back end of a solid. You will not be disappointed.
