Specs: 15lbs
Pin 2-3"
Drilled pin axis with weight hole on PAP
Polished (not sure what finish) with Finesse It
I picked this ball up used from Drillwizard because it already had the pin axis drilling I was looking for. I wanted this ball to be my go-to ball when the Cherry Bomb was just too hard to control on the backends. That's exactly what I've got. The polished XL gets exceptional length and makes a strong but controlled arc to the hole, continuing through like a freight train and smashing everything when it gets there. Playing on my second shift mixed league shot, I was able to stroke this ball nice and firm up second arrow and just smash the hole all night long. This drilling and finish make the XL exactly what I was looking for on dry shots. This is not, however, a one-trick-pony, as this ball can still be used to open up the lanes when I put more hand into it. I practiced with it at a house across town that has longer oil and sloppy backends. Playing deep inside and cranking the ball up I was able to find the hole and just blast away, making this ball even more versatile than I originally thought. I know that some people have been disappointed because they've found the XL to be stronger than they expected. However, with the right drilling and coverstock prep this ball can damn near anything you want it to be. A great benchmark ball and another great weapon in the Lane 1arsenal. I see some honor scores coming with this one, maybe as early as tonight! Fantastic ball 9.5 out of 10.

Bowling is without a doubt the dumbest, most pointless, most idiotic excuse for a game that has ever been invented. So, what time are we bowling tomorrow?
