Been looking at lane1 for quite a while, and have decided to take the plunge over the summer and see for myself. In general terms, what would be a good 1-2 punch for a stroker with good ball speed to cover a variety of conditions except the extremes(very dry or oily). Thanks for any input!
P.S. Was looking at the HDB back in December.

I've got like 15 Lane#1 balls and right now my 2 favorites are the Tsunami and the Cobalt.
-
Tsunami or the H20 and the Hybrid Dirty Bomb or maybe the Carbide Plus.
I'm taking the H20 and the Hybrid Dirty Bomb because the way they are drilled, they are both drilled with more control then the Tsunami and the carbide plus but still have some kick.

I like the Carbide +, and the Cobalt. Medium/Heavy for the Carbide + (also possibly some carry down), and medium to the lighter side of medium for the Cobalt.

Thanks for all the input! I am now leaning towards a 3 punch.
Cobalt or H2O - Drier
Tsunami - Benchmark
Uranium Solid - Heavier Stuff
-
Gazoo,
Go with the Carbide Plus for the heavier stuff!

It appears Gazoo had his mind made up before he asked for advice. The majority here suggesting the cobalt & carbide plus, however that must not matter. Sorry we(majority) couldn't help.

Sawuser,
Actually have not made up my mind. Sawmill got me on the Carbide+ for the heavier stuff and not the US. The Tsunami looks like a good benchmark ball. The Colbalt and H2O look good for dryer, just have not used pearls much. Decisions Decisions!!!!!

Upon the advice of the Lane1 gurus, have decided to go with the Carbide+ and Cobalt for my 1st lane1 experience. I look forward to joining the proud Lane1 team! (Majority Rules!)
-
I would go with the CArbide + and the Cobalt. Maybe polish the Carbide Plus a bit if need be. Those 2 balls will cover all the mediums from oily to drier. =:^D
-
Just a bit of advice on the Cobalt for the drier conditions. With you speed, you should be able to lay it out like mine 4 x 3 1/2, with the cg stacked (pin will be it the 2 o'clock position to the ring finger; should look like this:
--------P
---O--O
--------C
----O
Close as I can get, but I have the same speed as you, with probably more revs, as I am a tweener. I can use this Cobalt on medium/light to light. I got a second Cobalt and laid it out 5x4, pin above the ring, and cg just left of stacked, for the lighter to dry stuff. I can always add polish if needed. Let us know how you like the two balls.
As for the Carbide plus, I would go 4x3 stacked; somewhat close to the Cobalt layout. You can go strong with the layout, since it will be for the heavier stuff, and again, if too strong, just add polish, or fine sand it and polish.
There are others more qualified with layouts her, that should help out, or give a thumbs up to my suggestions.
