I had the Megaton on the shelf for well over a year. Changed the drill pattern to my new specs and rolled a 300 in the last game of pot bowling.
What made the 300 good was that they put 5 teenage boys right along side of us using house shoes and house balls. We talked to them early on and explained the lane curtosy. Needless to say they never gave us the lane curtosy, go figure, youths today. So one stepped up along side one of our bowlers already on the approach, and he is a retired NY police officer. He got a little loud when he told the teen to back off the approach. So the other teens cherped in "its only a game". I said quitely, its only a game but we take this game a little more seriously then they do.
It wasn''t that game that I shot the 300 but the next game. In the 10th frame I was on thier side of our lanes and I was worried that they''d step up on me. but they didn''t on the first strike I threw. I didn''t care if they bowled in between me throwing the ball but one of our bowlers politely asked them to wait til I finished the game. He did explain to them that I had a chance to throw a 300. So they waited and watched and I threw the 300. I think their attitude changed a little bit. It was good to see.

Thank you for the congrats. But I had 7 300s and an 800 last year. I liked the story better.
Thanks again,
