If you looked at my "every Lane #1 ball" thread, you probably noticed that the stuff I match up with in the Lane #1 line is typically the symmetrical stuff, especially those that are symmetric top to bottom.

Meaning, the Diamond core balls are an easy match for me. But the W.A.S. core balls, a little more touchy.

With the Bomb cores, I love the BuzzBomb/R (same construction on top of the central core as well as the bottom), but hated the Dirty Bomb (top flip block) and am very unsure of the HDB (same core).

I'm going to get a Chainsaw sooner or later (another symmetrical core, mirror image top-to-bottom). The Massacre appears to be a beautiful ball and it's getting nice early reviews, but again, this is a ball with a flip-block-loaded weight block. But unlike the DB core, this block is on the bottom, not the top.

I never tried any of the Cobalt series balls, which I'm told have a similar core to the Massacre. I do know from experience with Storm's FE2 cores (i.e., the Thunder, Thunderstruck and HyRoad series balls), that moving the flip block from the top to the bottom creates a much different look. And given that the FE2 core is somewhat similar to a Lane #1 diamond construction -- except that the central part of the core is a ball, not a diamond -- perhaps the same things will hold true for me re: the Massacre.

The question is, how likely do you guys think it will be for me to have matchup problems out of the Massacre given its core construction?

Jess

tough to say jess

it's gonna have a flip block on the end of the smaller diamond.

now, my point is that the core is much smaller than conventional cores in the c'saw so this may change the reaction for you, compared to the larger cores.

I really like the chainsaw, and I don't know if it's due to the smaller core and weaker cover, and I do all the work or what.

Personally I loved the G-force line, and I matched up well with those balls, but did not go crazy for the double flip blocks on the doomsday bomb cores.

whatever it is it's going to be an angular ball to say the least, and it's purddy.

I want to know how this new ball will match up w/ the XP, which, I found to be very angular

I think you will match up horribly with this ball because you are a 195-average donk.

Yep, I am.

You, on the other hand, though a combination of one or more factors such as bad parenting, low self-esteem as a child or a dragonfly-sized pen*s, grew up to become someone who just doesn't measure up, in any mental or physical category. So you create a handful of anonymous usernames that you cycle through to throw mud at others and convince yourself that you're funny or relevant. What it really is, is the kind of behavior that probably made you the resident punching bag when you were in junior high school.

Now that I've put you in your place, let's get back to the topic at hand: the Chainsaw Massacre.

Jess, I truly think that this ASWHOLE is much past Junior High.

Maybe, but you might be surprised. I actually have met quite a few of these folks as part of my job. I used to be surprised but the Internet has allowed people's true self to come flowing out like diarrhea.

Back in 1996, a friend of mine started an Internet-based company. I was in charge of providing site content. Almost immediately, we began to get spammers. This was back in the day when people couldn't hide their true locations as easily and one of our security experts pinned down a couple of our spammers.

We went to visit them. At their place of business. One of them worked in IT at a company in Birmingham.

Ever see someone actually wet their pants? One of our guys got to witness it. He went to the company, showed copies of this guy's handiwork to his boss, and the boss and he walked down to the spammer's office and confronted him. He had been using his company's computers to visit our site and dirty it up. Why? Just because he was bored, I guess. When his boss confronted him with our report, he wet himself on the spot, literally.

We quickly began to find out that without exception, every one of these guys has some serious social or mental defect. Most recently it happened about six months ago. One of our board's spammers is also a ticket scalper/broker, so we had a guy cozy up to him and convince the spammer to meet him somewhere under the guise of selling him tickets to a football game. The guy turned out to be one of those guys that can't get a date (or, at least, never a second date), had no social skills, etc.

I love a good sense of humor in a person, but it doesn't extend to tolerating people who feel it's OK to make targets of others for their own amusement. That's a sign of weakness in a person, either weakness of character or weakness of mind.
