Title: A sincere apology from the Thomas of the bowling world.
Post by: Bjaardker on September 24, 2003, 12:12:02 AM
"HIT LIKE A TRUCK, HIT HARDER THAN ANYTHING ELSE, ROLLS BETTER THAN ANY OTHER BALL"

We've heard them all. But when it came to Lane#1 & their Buzzsaws, the cacophany of self congratulatory praise was louder than anywhere else in the bowling world.

I didn't believe it. I'm a skeptic at heart & the "fanboys" did nothing but harden me in my resolve that a Lane#1 was nothing but an overpriced ball, with a company skilled in keeping secrets & not providing info to it's customers.

After some time of doing everything in my meager powers to disprove the fanboys a slack jawed yokel named Clump took me under his wing & said he would help to show me the light. He didn't baffle me with BS, he simply made an offer to help me find a lane#1 of my own.

Clump called out & 2 disciples of the Lane#1 cult, pnj1967 & SrKegler, showed their kindness & made wonderful offers, helping me become an owner of a Blue Solid Carbide and a Pink Raspberry. I went to my local purveyor of drilling & plugs. After a bit more time I was ready to experience the Buzzsaw first hand.

Frame by frame passed by. The shock & awe of the Buzzsaw shattered the casing around my hardened heart & I slowly began to.....believe.

Folks, I have been converted. I now believe. HONEST INJUN, I've never had a ball roll smoother, read the lane more precisely, and carry better than my blue carbide.

Bottom line:

Since I've started using my buzzsaws I've raised my average from 173 to a 196. I've had my highest series ever (659). Finally, I've increased my strike percentage has gone up dramatically. I'm up to 20+ strikes a night from 13.

Thanks everyone. Buzzsaws really do fit my game better than any other ball ever has.

In the old days people used to cut wood with axes.....................now and days...............they just have Executioners do it for them!

Pin_Krusher IS a serious threat to modern day bowling wood as we know it today.

To give you an idea, I haven't even had a chance to use the Pink Razz yet in leagues. This has all been with the Blue Carbide.

BJ, that's a pretty good testimonial coming from you. It's nice for you to realize that all the Buzzheads are not crazy for what they say about Lane1 stuff..!! Glad to have you aboard.

Isn't it amazing that with a product this good, the pro's don't use it on TV..? =:^D

Honestly, I can see where it may not fit up with many of their styles, so I'm not really amazed by it.

I would expect to see a lot more Roto Grip & D/T stuff first.

Although with the advent of the Cherry Bomb, I wouldn't be surprised to see a CG in palm type drilling do well for some of them.

People told me I was crazy when I sold my Storm balls and started gathering the balls with the little diamonds on them...well guess what? THEY WORK!!!

Not only are the boys from Syracuse NY a great bunch to deal with in terms of being a distributor for them but they are also excellenmt in terms of customer service. It's not every day you can call a bowling ball company and have the OWNER answering the phone!!!!!

I am a firm believer and wish to welcome you aboard Bjaardker....just remember who you need to call for your next Saw.....and no, don't go to Lowe's or Home Deppot!!!! :-) Just call me :-)

Once again, welcome to the other side of the bowling industry :-)
