So I bought an Agent Orange off of eBay for $80 shipped (used) and I got the thumb plugged, a new slug and new finger grips for $20.  $100 total for a pretty much brand new Lane 1.

I bought this ball because I had heard that the state tournament there was a lot of oil on the lanes, and you needed something that hooked early.  The seller told me he had it at 1000 grit abralon, and I figured for a player like myself that would be perfect.

I picked it up Sunday and used it tonight for the first time in league.  I figured this ball would be hooking for days, but sadly it doesn't.  

I was able to play 17 with my feet (I line up with my left foot and I'm lefty) and play direct up the 10 board all night.  So basically I was really straight.  The ball got down the lane super easy, and had a pretty small break on the back end.  

While I think this will be my new go to ball on THS, I don't think, if the lanes are like everyone is saying, it will work for me at states.

Has anyone noticed that this ball is a good one to play straight with, but not a hooking monster?

I'm not disappointed in the ball, just a little disappointed that it might not work for what I wanted it to.

Hey guys I just had to add to this!  I found out today while bowling in another team event, that my 2231 scratch all events score is the NEW CITY RECORD!  The previous high was 2169 set in 1994!!!!

Now I'm super pumped!  Hopefully no one breaks it in the next few days!

Oh, also the team I bowled with today won the scratch division championship as well!  Which is bitter sweet because the team that was in 1st was my other team

I'm super PUMPED!

Mt. Pleasant, Michigan.  This ball was AWESOME for Doubles and Singles, but not enough ball for team as there was more oil at the other house, which is where my Hy-Road stepped in

Hey CG, believe it or not, I'm in 2nd for all events handicap lol.  I only got 15 sticks for the entire 3 event total.  Some dude with like a 170 average didn't shoot lower than 640 in any event, so he SMOKED Me. Bitter sweet because he bowls on my Monday Night Team in league, and I fixed a couple of his problems and he's been bowling much better lately

Yes mainly up 10, and sometimes a 10-5 swing.  Real tight lines.
