WOW.
These two balls scream control. The liberator is just a total animal at the pins. Both respond to hand position changes very favorably for me. I got them both drilled at the ballreviews days at Chackos last weekend. I took them Monday night to mess around with after a 5 man league. Practiced a bit with them and then turned the scorers on. My fingers and thumb were swelled up quite a bit and I had troubles getting the release right with both of them. I did not want to open the thumbs up because I knew my hand was swollen from bowling way too much in the last 5 days.
I shot 675/ CLEAN with them, all the while having issues with my release. One time it would hang, one time I would release it right.
Move to Tuesday night, This is a carrydown night for me.... seniors bowl at 10AM, women at 6PM and us at 9PM with no fresh in between. so head oil is in the pit.
more of the same issues with thumb only. It is very swollen now. 2nd and 3rd games all I did was fight with the thumb.....
I start with 194 with a GB on the fill (trying to throw my buddies Agent Orange) clean except for that. I think to myself not too bad... I was clean...
proceed to change wrist position to more under the ball to get the ball to move a bit more on the carrydown, shoot another clean 222, this all with the Liberator.(threw the chainsaw on fill ball to strike and see if line was ready for it. I sense the lanes are ready for the chainsaw. shoot 235 with a single 10 pin left.
I am normally a guy who has tons of trouble picking up spares. Espessially the 10. I missed one and it was tugged very badly (the thumb I talked about)
Both these balls are awesome and will have a place in my bag wherever I go, they will not leave the bag.
675, and 651 with only 3 opens in 6 games. I feel as though I have had these things for months, I know exactly what they are going to do already.
I do know I will be buying at least 2 more or each NIB to set back.
Cannot wait til next week... when my thumb issues will be lessened...
