Anyone else loosing reaction with the G-Force quickly??
« on: March 05, 2007, 07:16:25 AM »
I've been bowling with the G-Force for the last couple of weeks (pin above the ring Cg along side the thumb) and the ball loses reaction extremely quick.  I cleaned the ball with grey scotch brite pad and Hook-It and it starts out reading the lane well, but within a game the ball lost a ton of reaction.  I tried moving right into fresh oil thinking the heads were fading but the ball didn't recover at all.  I went further right to see if there was carry down and the reaction still sucked.

Anyone else having this problem??

Thank you Triggerman.  I agree with your assment of the G-Force and the SU.  The G-Force is longer and covers more boards on the back end once it finds a dry area and I did get away from the SU because it did leave a lot of flat 10s when the lanes began to dry out.

but again it goes back to saying that the G-Force is not the oiler the SU is or the oiler that the G-Force was touted to be.

I don't think it was a reverse blocked shot, but it could have been, but I think it was a flat shot with a ton of head oil.

I'm going to continue to work with the G-Force because I think it has potenial, just not as a heavier oil ball for me.

Thank you all for your replies.
