What did you use ? Kinda wondering if an Agent Orange OOB would be enough for team..  My guess is that my Dynamo might go too long for team...

I didn't go this year, but I used my Tsunami all 9 games last year in Reno.  Playing around 12 at the arrows and 7/8 at the break point making small moves in as necessary.  I didn't like the look with stronger equipment with more surface.

i did as did all my teammates lol

I used dynamo AO chainsaw
teammate used AO exlusively
teammate used polished supernova
teammate used dynamo.h2o
teammate used agent orange teal ths

the dyanmo and AO seemed to be the ball, we were fortunate to have the lane all to ourselves we didnt shoot numbers but all had a great look
3 of us were over 1700 ae but we only shot 2800 in team
i took my dyanmo back down to 2k without polish and it was a great choice the guys with ao were in box and also had a great look
in singles i moved way in played 4th arrow and had the best look i have seen in a number of years with the dyanmo

I used my Cranberry most of the time at Nationals. I was playing a line similar to what Strider described.

If you're a tweener, the condition is tight and you'll need a surface that gets through the heads without creating too much area. Having equipment with too much surface can be a hazard.

If you'll take some second-hand info, yes -- from three of my friends/teammates. I didn't get to go this year.

1) Bowler 1 -- Righty power-stroker, took one L1 ball (Pearl Cherry Bomb), averaged around 205-210 with it. If he played the lanes like he plays every set of lanes I've ever seen him play, he was going very direct and rolling hard and up the back. Usually averages around 205-210 in league so he backed up his average.

2) Bowler 2 -- Righty tweener, kind of spins it, buys only Lane #1 and has a lot of gear. I know he took a Teal THS, BuzzBomb/R and BuzzBomb with him. Likes to play deep inside with a lot of speed and needs backends to score. Well, he didn't score. He averages 220-230 on THS and came nowhere close to it.

3) Bowler 3 -- Lefty tweener, senior bowler. Averages only about 185 anyway on THS these days and I think he averaged 168 or so for his nine games. Used a Uranium HRG, Cobalt Pearl and G-Force Solid along with some Visionary gear. Told me he wished he'd brought something tamer (he has a G-Force Evolution but left it at home) because he couldn't get the ball to stop hooking in the backend. He had the opposite problem that the righties had.

Threw my SCB most games - with my AO a little in the last game or 2 in singles.

Made a dumb rookie mistake though - havent thrown the SBC it for about 2 years as there just hasnt been enough oil. I just assumed it would still fit. I had to cram about 6 pieces of tape in the thumb hole. This caused some friction and thumb swelling issues.

Started off in all shifts great. But after a few games my thumb started giving me release problems. I changed to the AO but my thumb was screwed by then and I couldnt get out of that clean either.

A strong ball is definatley the way to go - avoid going right of 10 - play inside with a strong ball and good speed and you will have a nice line.
