Title: AO solid 7 pin... ouch

Well I bowl a marathon type of thing every Sunday where myself and a group of guys have a set of 4 lanes, and we bowl about 15 games for cash. Well I was getting smoked early on, just couldn't get my release right. I had a few sub 200 games, but nothing big (234 with Hot Sauce Pearl). Well it was my turn to move over to the drier pair that we bowl on. I decided to use my AO (sanded to 2000 grit with Beans Sauce over the top). Well I ran the first 9 in a row, all pocket hits. Got into the 10th frame, I bury the first one. I'm nervous but calm at the same time. The 11th frame comes up and the nerves take over. Yank, I pull it inside, then the AO takes off brooklyn, they all fall though. I'm like "Ok, just settle down, you have been here once before." By now all of the guys within 4 pair of me are watching, I step up and put every rev that I have into the ball, and keep the speed at a medium. Bam I hit the 1-3 pocket, and the 7 pin isn't touched (righty)... 299.... I laughed as I picked up the high game pot, a little disappointed but hey.. ill get another tre'! Its only a matter of time!

The funny part is, when I bowled my first one, I didn't have a clue on how to bowl, now I keep inching closer and closer to 300, but I keep falling short!

Hitting that 3-4 pocket must be a real trick.

  Congrats on the game, it's tougher than people think.
