Uranium coverstock composition "definition"
« on: February 16, 2004, 08:39:28 PM »
To avoid the same mass hysteria that seems to revolve around the Brunswick Inferno's coverstock composition, I also queried Lane#1 directly as to whether their Uranium Buzzsaw was a solid or a pearl or something else, here is their reply:

"The Uranium Buzzsaw is a pearl resin."

It is more definitive and precise and less open to bizarre mis-interpretations.

"The one ball that does it all" is a pearl resin?  I would think a ball to cover "almost all" conditions would be a solid resin or very light load particle.

Strider, I'll bet because this heavy dense diamond would roll too early in a solid resin or particle pearl. That would be great for heavier oiled conditions, but maybe not for the broader range. Just my opinion. =:^D

Well, the bowling community should be able to get a "flavor" for what will happen when they view the Ultimate Inferno because that is a dull solid with a similar, but not identical[/b low RG, medium-high RG Differential core.
