Identical Balls

is there any ball from lane #1 that is identical to Brunswick Scorchin Inferno or better ?

lane#1 has different cores so nothing will be identical.....

Nothing identical but as far as similar midlane roll the Super Carbide or Solid Uranium could give you the a similar roll.

I have seen those infernos ... they can't handle the oil the solid uranium or the SCB do ...

I would say Hybrid dirty bomb - tsunami more likely

Then you haven't been looking very closely. While the SUper Carbide may handle more oil, the Solid Uranium is so close to the Ultimate Inferno, they could be twins off the same assembly line. Except for the shape, the RG is within .01", the Ultimate has a higher RG differential for more flare, the coverstock's chemical makeup is identical (solid ACtivator) and the surface finish is idential (800 grit matte/dull).

The HDB is highly polished and not in the same oil handling  class of ball as the Ultimate (its new slightlystronger cousin, the Scorchin') or the Solid Uranium.

The Super Carbide Bomb is the only Lane#1 ball that handles more oil (if that is what you mean by "better) than the Scorchin' Inferno. No ball is identical, as has been stated already by other posters.

I have not seen any of these inferos to handle the volume of oil the super carbide and the solid uranium can handle

even my teammate switches from those inferos to the solid uranium when the oil is a bit beavy

that's my opinion ... you don't have to agree to it ..

LOL! A lot of truth here.

My doubles partner has both the UI and the Uranium. While the specs of the two balls are in fact almost identical, the Uranium rolls a little earlier and is his choice for heavier oil.

Is it his style and/or release? Possibly, but in watching both balls in action among several bowlers, the Uranium seems to handle heavier oil a little better. I have a Uranium (but not a UI), and it's my first choice for heavy conditions. However, there is no question that they're both excellent balls.
