What's it worth?
« on: May 23, 2004, 11:52:57 PM »
OK ... So I walk into my pro shop guy's workroom over the weekend and sitting on the bench just as pretty as you please is a 15# XXXL he took in as a trade. This ball is in great shape, looks like it might have been thrown twice. Seriously, could be mistaken for NIB if not for the drill and one tiny scratch. So, my dear husband throws 15# equipment, and we've both wanted to try Lane 1. What would be an acceptable amount to pay to add this ball to hubby's bag? He really doesn't have anything for dry or burnt lanes, so this would actually fill a hole in his arsenal.

IDIOT, NEW POST!!

BTW, aren't you hiding behind a screen name on BR too, idiot?  I told you already, you have to read your posts before you put them up, so you can find all your mistakes....

Too late HB.  Think I should make a post especially for him? (it'd be the first special attention he's ever received...)

Hey, if you had been here longer than a day, you'd have known I got involved in the Lane 1 War, but not as a cult member.

I dont know but he seems to need a little "special attention". I think he hit his head when he fell out of the back of the short bus the other day.

Ok, sure, whatever.  Shall I delete my new post?

BTW, I think we should say sorry to Deb.

Hmm, a lot of old members seem to feel like "stirring it up" with a new screen name.....or maybe it's just one person, and a fake.  Oh well.

No, he's not HB.  He's a fake, and if he's a "regular", he obviously doesn't pay attention to anything.

FAKE!!

He should know i wouldn't reveal his identity if he has one.  I like stirring things up, I'll let him do that, ONLY if he's a regular, though, not a stupid newbie.

Afterall, stirring things up and annoying people is what I do best, but people know me, so...

Wow, he must have deleted a lot of posts.  HammerBowler, I have no idea who he is, but he is not Clutch or the TBU consortium.  They like to stir the pot, but aren't childish like this guy, and would never delete posts just because they were getting ripped.

He's 11 years old, or 12.  I'm not sure.

What I meant to him, is I dont' care about people like Bush Bin Lyin, since he's a real member who wants more traffic for the site.

And I'll tell you again.  5'10" is nothing special, sorry.  Average is what, 5'8" or something?  Dude, if you think you're so tall, I'm sorry.  You're not even close.

Yeah, I would pass on it too. Unless, the price was down in the $35.00 range(including re-drill). Dont/wouldnt see that happening. I would find some old urethane and polish the heck out of it. I have an old Black Hammer that works very well for the dry conditions(picks the 10 nicely too). A bit more versatile than plastic. Never tried Lane1 eh? If the ol boy can throw 16lb. I would be willing to give you one. Sent you a message......
