There's plenty of boards on the lane for the Big Curve. In my opinion it isn't near as strong as the Invasion, Mutant Cell, Bounty Hunter, Mega Friction, or any of the "super" oilers out.

If you don't see the Big Curve as being at least on par with the non-Lane#1 balls you mentioned, there is some other issue in play.

I don't think Lane #1 really makes "Super" oilers. When the buzzbomb first came out it was supposed to be their crazy strong ball....with the same exact layout, buzzbomb at 2000 abralon was 3 and 2 less than my No Mercy Beat'n at 4000 abralon. I threw the Big Curve with a similar layout and surface to my Invasion, the Invasion was an easy 5 boards stronger.
