About the prices of Lane 1 balls
« on: August 02, 2006, 01:49:31 PM »
First of all, im posting because of curiosity, not being mean or anything.

i would like to have an idea why Lane 1's balls are more expensive than other brands?

im dont doubt about the quality of Lane1 balls, but are the materials involved what make the balls more expensive? or its just a marketing strategy?

Understand my point of view, im still a student and it makes difference for me.

again, im not here to start drama, just want to have more information and maybe next time consider buying from this brand.

thx for your answers

They cost a little more because they don't mfg there own, Go buy a pba elite ball, they are more pricey to. Try one to see if you like lane 1, I find them to match up real well with my game wheras i did not have much luck with ebo or storm.

I just messaged this guy and we shall see what happens....
here is what I messaged him..........

Hey, Heres a quick story..... guy on here gave me a ball one day long ago when I did not have any money either........ a used pro purple Buzzsaw...... I Still have it, refuse to get rid of it. It reminds me that there are people out there willing to give..... and expect nothing in return.....

Moral of the story is........

IF you want to try a used saw I have one I can send you.... for free.......
But you have to use it on the condition it was meant for. It is NOT going to hook outta the house on a ton of oil,,,,and it sure the hell ain't gonna cover 30 boards hooking the lane..... but IF you get her redrilled and play up ten or a SMALL swing on a LIGHT to MEDIUM shot with crisp backends you will be fine.....
It ain't purty and it has been plugged a few times but still rolls great.
I won't tell you which one it is, before you give me a breakdown of lane conditions you bowl on,  but is a favorite of the owner of lane #1 from what I hear..... ask Thongprincess.......

If you want it and are going to use it one proper conditions before coming on here and slamming the company for NOT making a ball that hooks outta the house just message me back, telling me your lane conditions that you see most, and your word that you will not slam the company if it does not work right for you.... one ball does not make a company bad.... Let me know.......

THIS IS NOT A JOKE EITHER....
