Bleeder reactive.....??
« on: August 26, 2008, 08:33:32 AM »
I think I've asked this question before!  Can't remember the answer!

I remember the Yellow Dot bleeder plastic.....it was still bleedin a lot in my Florida garage and still hooking at my then 11 mph speed until about 1999!  But then.....it BLED to death in my 135 degree Florida garage!  Stopped hooking and I bought that bad boy Blue pearl Pulse(I heard it could shoot 900s!).  That thing hooked so much at 12 mph I thought it was crazy!!

Now I see this bleeder reactive!  What's that mean??

it is a superflex based cover (columbia et al had 3 or 4 versions of superflex)  it is a BASF formulation.  Lane #1 calls it bleeder because of the way the ball delays and slowly bleeds off its energy saving it for the back end.  Strictly a marketing deal IE much like their radioactive stock, fusion 105 stock yada yada yada

This ball (evolution) does not bleed color

Have you ever seen a Super-Flex coverstock "bleed"????
FYI probably about 90% of your (and my) beloved AMF coverstocks are some form of Super-Flex.
