Blue Carbide Question ...
« on: March 14, 2006, 11:27:46 PM »
Bought this ball new a year ago from a
ballreviews member. The ball is dark blue and
just says carbide on the side. Is this a particle
and with what type of load and core. It is
fastly becoming my best oil ball, even better than
some of my new equipment. Just need some input
about this ball from some hardcore sawheads !

Thanks,

Yes, this is one. It is really a hard hitting,
hooking machine, but yet it is not jerky, and carry is
phenomenal !

Sigh....wish I still had mine (except in 15 pounds, not 16).  One of my first 'Saws and one of the best, but I got rid of it when I dropped a pound.

I have a 15lb pearl carbide & it is dark blue as well. I believe they both just say carbide, but you can see the pearlized feature in mine. It is a great hitting ball & they both have the same core. The diamond with 2 separated mini nuggets. I wish they would re-introduce that core with the new dense material & a more aggressive solid resin cover.
