Title: blueberry buzzsaw
Post by: millt on March 17, 2007, 03:00:23 PM
anyone still use the old blueberry buzzsaw or did use it. And if so how is it or was it. I think it would be cool to get a hold of one of them.

another of the old school balls, i actually did not care for the blueberry but the black raspberry was one of my faves, wish i could get my hands on another in decent shape, i would throw it till it fell apart

I had 2 blueberrys with different layouts. Loved both of them & sorry I no longer have them. Very predictable, very hard hitting, overall great ball IMHO.

I love mine.
It is a short pin (1-1/2).
I drilled it with the pin under bridge (about 5" from PAP), and placed the CG out about 60 degrees. No X-hole needed.
It is one of the smoothest and most predictable saws I own.
It is not flashy, but very dependable. If skid/flip is getting me in trouble, I can always go to this ball and get back on track.

Mine's on it's third drilling and I still use it when the lanes call for it.Currently drilled with an X-hole on my PAP.This dreillign easily clears the heads and gives me a bit of a snap on the back ends similar to what an asymmetrical ball would do.I've left the cover at around 1000.My last league usage with this ball resulted in 202-212-259--673.
Very durable coverstock that is easily tuned to what you need.A resurface removes any tracking you get and it's readyt to go again......

A little off topic perhaps... but what do you guys recall the last 15# BlueBerry C2 on e-bay or anywhere else going for?
