Charlest,

I know that you can tell us the characteristics of PK17.  I just read on the Lane 1 site that the GN uses PK17 cover with a 3% particle load.  Take care....JS

John,

I've mentioned this to Charlest as well, from what I know it's the cover on some of the Monster line.

I wish I remembered what was said, but I'm sure you can read about it on this or the other site.

Clump's right about PK 17 vs PK 18. Basically PK 17 is more user friendly, while PK 18 will handle more oil and hook more violently. It's better for people with fewer revs but generally needs more consistency in their release or it needs to be used with a good core like the Quantum mushroom core in the Bruiser and the Fire Quantum.

Once you start adding particles to the cover AND then perlizing it, all bets are off. You have a new cover, whose properties will be tightly coupled to that of the core with which it is used.

It'll be here by Thanksgiving, if predictions are accurate. That is not long to wait. Be patient.
