Well I bowled my 1st Regional in a few years this morning here in Albuquerque,NM. I threw my Buzzbomb for the entire 8 game block and ended up +250 for 8games. Granted it was Cheetah but man did the ball roll great. I had (3) 260+ games and I also had (2) 190 games.... Missed a few easy multi pin spares....
The ball is drilled 5x3 with a small, deep hole 5 inches from the center of grip through the CG ....
The ball is also shined with my Secret Sauce and has about 25 games of so on it since I polished it.
If 26 bowlers do not beat me I will be back in the morning to bowl 5 more games. I hope to make the final 16 and bowl for the title......
This ball performed as good ..if not better than all the other balls being thrown...
Keep in mind......I throw 14 lbs....

See you there in a few days...

Beans: Nice showing! The BuzzBOMB is a special ball -- very versatile for surface adjustments for different conditions.
Good luck in moving on.....

Beans,
Did you polish over the original 1000 grit or you changed the grit and then polished?
-
Polished right over the 1000 grit box surface....
Like I said...It has probably 25-30 games on it after the polish job and was super clean in the front with the pop on the back that I needed. beans

Congrats Beans...I saw you made it. Did they change the format? When I bowled they took the top 16 to match play, and then a certain amount of spots out of the match play got paid. I see on the site it has like 30 something guys advancing and only the two top seniors got paid....

In the East where I am from....
They took 16 to finals and 1 in 3 cashed after that...
Most other regions take the 1 in 3 cashers and have you bowl 5 games in the morning and then cut to the top 16.

Beans:
I have a new BuzzBomb myself, so far I have about 7 games on it.
I have a question that goes eomthing like this:
OOB finish BuzzBomb + Beans Secret Sauce= what kind of reaction?
I guess what I'm asking is how did your polish affect the back-end of the ball (in a heavy oil pattern). My ball is drilled to go long and snap hard in heavy oil (which it does- VERY well). The problem is, sometimes it's far too aggressive on it's breakpoint (too early) and it goes Brooklyn or takes out the 7 pin by itself. I don't want to change the balls reaction ( I still want the snap, I don't want to change it into a hook), I would just like the breakpoint to occur a little further down the lane.
Again, I'm referring to YOUR polish specificly. I have some polish on hand that I've tried, but it seems to tame the ball's overall reaction. I'd like to keep the same action in the ball because it does hit like a truck when it's on target.
Any help would be great!

Well Terry,
I am glad you asked as I have both my Buzzbombs polished. It increases both length and backend. If you notice the ball is still too strong with the 1000 out of box finish and polish. Take the surface up a little to like 2000 or 4000 before polish. If you have any other questions.....
