Title: BTM- Hybrid Dirty Bomb

There's a blurb from Lane #1 in BTM-August that the HDB is their best selling ball of all time. Why do you think that this is? Is it their most versatile ball? Would you buy another one and why?

after finally throwing my HDB, I can see why. I could definitely see myself picking up another one and altering the surface with a different drill pattern. I can see playing a few different patterns with the one I have.

I just think it's a great ball. I think it hits the pocket well(of course you have to get it there), but the action generated by it is very nice indeed. To me, seems to adapt fairly well to hand release changes, and gives your predictable looks.

That's just my opinion anyways.

I read the same article. I really enjoy mine, but I will admit I have been using the Uranium Pearl and Solid more often. Too many great balls to choose from, I need to hire a porter to help me carry all the balls to league.

Ya, I know what you guys are talking about. When I get home from the lanes, I see the balls I left behind on the floor & I feel real guilty. I just have to take them out to play next time!

Did you leave it OOB finish? How did you drill it? What type of lane conditions is it best on?

Love mine...first ball out of the bag on the "slicker than most" THS. Mine is in OOB condition with a 4.5 stacked drill. I am a 16 mph stroker and it works VERY well for me. After a couple holes are filled in my arsenal, I would seriously consider another HDB with a different drill...maybe a label 1:30?
