I just got my BTM today--early this month compared to the usual. Even by the watered down standard of their reviews nowadays, the review of the Black Cherry Bomb is quite a rave.

Yes, their review of the BCB is one for the ages. It seems they really like it and are highly recommending it.
WAHOO!!!! Yet another one I called right :-)
I have another one of these bad boys I want to drill up to possibly replace or complement my Inferno and other BCB.
Suggestions on layouts? My Inferno is 5-1/2 x 4-1/2, my other BCB is 4-1/4 x 2-1/4.
I was thinking of drilling the new one exactly like my Inferno to keep the reaction shape but get it moving a hair earlier.
Will there be that much difference between a 5-1/2 x 4-1/2 and a 4-1/2 x 2-1/4???
Just asking the other sawheads for some advice here since I have drilled very few of these balls.

They are calling the coverstock carbide resin. The "carbide" suggests particle, but they are clearly saying that it is a resin and not a particle.
