man i wish i still had my bullet. the chainsaw would be a little stonger than the bullet. the chainsaw is a great typical league ball and when they start to dry out just pull out the bullet. nice one two punch for league play. hope this helps.

May I modify that slightly (maybe it's the bowler and the drilling also) but I'd say, use the Bullet when they are virtually dead fried, even to the point of needing a plastic ball. My Bullet is THE weakest dry lanes resin ball I have ever thrown. It is a weak pearl, so it gets a ton of length and it has the backend of the weakest pearl urethane you have ever thrown (if you have ever thrown one). My spare ball is an original Blue Dot that I used a White Trizact on and then polished. The Bullet almost hooks less than that, yet still has a resin's hitting power.

Heck, I wish I had had one during the short oil years of the 80s. It hooked less than my Red and my Blue Pearl Hammer.

i only have played with the chainsaw, but i have read several others who have them both, and they all say the same thing

c'saw is a far superior ball, and they much prefer the c'saw for its intended use.

all i can say is that the c'saw is the best dry lane ball i have ever found.

The chainsaw would have a stronger finish, it does have a solid cover stock... The bullet was less angular....
