For those who didn't like the BuzzBomb/R...why?
« on: April 08, 2009, 11:18:10 AM »
Doing a little research. I have not tried the solid but I have tried the pearl and I love it. I've noticed some people didn't like the BuzzBomb/R at all, however, so what was wrong with it for you?

i think because the doomsday core was so sensitive to ending static weights that alot of people did not get it drilled with those ending weight in mind.

it's a good ball but very sensitive core imo, and it got a bad wrap

While I really, really like mine (I have averaged 225+ with it so far), for a pearl it is a very heavy rolling ball and does not have the skid-snap reaction of most pearls I have thrown...this could be because of the combination of the drilling I have on mine and the way I release it.

Paul,

Mine rolls very heavy, too. It's almost as rolly and strong as my Tsunami H20.

the first time i drilled mine, it went dead straight, even on a third shift shot, it looked like it wanted to turn, flared a ton, but went straight.  The second time i drilled it, we made sure to keep the ending statics in mind, and now its a beast, even with moderate carrydown, this thing hits like a truck, i have mine at 2000 abralon without polish and i love it now

love the buzzbomb solid didnt get the r because i have to many pearls. i think people that dont get any reaction had them drilled wrong.

The Buzzbomb/R would be a great ball in a 9 drop tournament
