Title: Buzz Bomb

I just bought one yesterday and had it leverage drilled.  This is my first Lane 1 ball and I'm hoping for the best.  Has anybody drilled one this way and what's their opinion?  On their website, they rate the flare as an 8 and backend 9, are these numbers true or far from it?

I'm looking for strong mid-lane with killer backend.  How does this ball react in oil, carry down and flat patterns?

It amazes me that people buy balls, drill them, and then post asking what to expect before they ever go to the lanes and throw them. I would think they would ask these questions first before drilling the balls. I know that I would.

I've also noticed the same thing where people post that they sanded or polished or sanded and polished their ball to such and such and ask what to expect before they ever go to the lanes. Again, I would think they would ask all of these questions before they ever changed the surface of their balls. I definitely would.

As the owner of two of them it is CRUCIAL the ball has NO thumb weight.It MUST have positive side and finger weight. EXCELLENT ball, but clean it after bowling each set. I highly recommend LANEMASTERS ball cleaner. You cannot use it during bowling, only before and after bowling. E-mail me if I can help you. I am not by any means an expert, but I've been around awhile.

I am also amazed by this concept.. I would never drill a ball unless I was pretty sure how it would react on the lane.. This is of course because I have done some research on the layout and ball..

and if I did have any doubts, I would ask first and drill second..

Just mt 2 cents..

Well I'm sure everyone knows how much I hate this drilling...  And I'm sure everyone's read How many people have been disappointed with their Label drilled BuzzBombs.  Just way to inconsistant for me, and very over-under...

my two cents, I am not a fan of the label drill either but we have done 6-8 in the shop with a standard 1:30 label and the guys love em  mine is stacked (4.5 x 4 actually) not quite as strong as the label drill but still in oil it has a very nice move, polished it is clean and very hard charging on the back

I had my 15lbs drilled up at Rick's Pro Shop in Lodi New Jersey. He told me he was having a problem controlling it out of the box. I know I hit the ball more than he does, so I had him polish it to max. Let me tell you its the best ball I have thrown in years. I like to play inside around 35 to 15.The ball goes long but has a great finish.It is very predictable. I shot "300" 2 weeks later once a started putting a track on it. TRUST me this ball is amazing!!! I now have a new family I can turn to!!

mine is drilled 4 3/8 x 5 3/8 label. This drill causedb a bunch of people problems. I was fortunate that my ball came out a beast. I get about 6-7 inches of flare and is real heavy rolling. You typically see a heavy rolling ball be smooth on the backend, but mine not only rolls hard but still has a backend that is very strong.

And your ball is drilled stronger than mine.
