BuzzBomb drill question
« on: March 28, 2008, 02:37:56 PM »
So what are people liking as far as drillings are concerned now? I've seen that there may have been a problem with the #1 drilling? What's your favorite? and how's it react for you?

I have drilled a wide variety of layouts on this ball and everybody has been happy.....

5x4 with polish...great house shot ball to roll into the track area and roll up to the hole

4x4 stacked...very strong layout with OOB finish...great for heavier and carrydown

4-1/2 x 5 pin in ring...turns the corner VERY hard OOB....with polish it's even stronger off the corner...you better have some speed unless you have soup

5-1/2 x 5 with polish....good length with strong arcy move off the dry...great for inside out with hand

Don't be afraid to slap your favorite drilling on this ball. Just be sure to keep the weights positive.... 1/2 oz or better in the finger and side and try to keep the top over an ounce.

Surface match up is of course a must....

We've been doing a lot of 4x4 and 4x3 layouts for the weaker handed and faster speed players here at the booth.

4.5-5 x 3 and 4.5-5 x 4 for the stronger handed players...

Balls have really been performing well too.

Surface matchup is a must though....

Had a rico drilling done with wh about 8 inches out, not 6 3/4..played a tournament this weekend with it..great mid lane read with a nice pop to the backend ...very controlled drilling...really revs up at the backend......

I drilled a 2nd ball for myself RICO this time and I agree with what scottie says...the ball revs up hard and does have a strong backend...I like it but man it needs oil. As soon as the heads start drying up put the ball away....
