I don't have one, but I know a lot of people over on BBE polish theirs up with Beans Sauce, with very good results.  Look amazing too.

out of box I think it is too dull (my personal opinion) polish will be required to get the length

I threw mine oob and it was way early, hit it with the sauce for a split second and loved it, I finally ended up at 1500 wetsand no polish on mine for the best results on med heavy to heavy oil (for me)

Still have mine at OOB and it reads very early but will work perfect if i ever hit a swamp of oil, but if your looking for more length pick up the buzzbomb/r!

So will the polished Buzzbomb have the same reaction as the Pearl Buzzbomb ?

Not exactly.  The pearl additive will basically make a pearlized coverstock stiffer than a solid reactive coverstock, which creates a later, stronger reaction.  Essentially a polished solid will go longer and react harder off friction than a dull solid, but it's still not going to be as strong off the dry as a pearl version of the same coverstock.
