After watching a few of the videos that were posted and talking to Richie about the ball. I decided to drill mine up.

14 lb 3 oz. 3-4 pin 3.25 top

Pap 4.75> 7/8^

I have a very high tilt and good rev rate so my balls always read the backs HARD!!

I took that in mind seeing how sharp this ball looked and shined the ball out of the box with my Secret Sauce.

After the ball was a mirror. I layed out the ball.

Pin was 5" from PAP under my middle finger and the cg was kicked out so the unmarked MB was on my VAL. Extra hole was 4.5" from center of grip through the CG. Small/Deep hole was used to smooth out a little more. (Smooth does not pertain to this ball)

All I can say honestly is after being affiliated with Lane#1 for the last 5-6 years,throwing ALL of their stuff as a PBA Pro Staff Member. This is the BEST ball I have ever thrown from ANY manufacturer. Not just Lane#1.

Not only does this ball turn the corner hard but the transition it makes in the midlane to get to the back is unlike anything I have seen. The ball is very versatile as far as style is concerned as well.

Game#1 I was playing in and hooking the ball with medium speed.
Shot 259... XXXXXX 9/ X 9/ XXX (Solid 9 and messenger that missed in front of the 10)

Game#2 I changed my angle to playing the track harder/straighter and more firm. This worked very well too!!

Shot 279.... XXXXXXXXX 9/X (Another Solid 9)

Game#3 I moved in deeper than where I started the night and was playing a tight inside line. Slower speed and more tilt to get the ball to curve more in the last few feet of the lane as there is tons of oil in the middle.

Shot 245... XXXXX 81 X 9/ XXXX (Pocket 4-6 and a 4 pin)

Keep in mind I throw 14 lbs... Not 1 weak hit all night.
I had a Black Widow Solid and I would leave so many shaker 7's and weak 10's with the 14 that I had to retire it. Gave it to my GF.

One of my customers on my team was throwing a Black Widow Bite I drilled yesterday for him and the motion was good. I am not trying to bash their equipment but the BUZZBOMB was stronger and more angular than even the Black Widow Bite.

I AM IMPRESSED!!!!!!

If you have a bunch of tilt, and every thing flips hard on the back, what's the point of adding a polish that will make it bite even harder? Most people with stats like your are trying to find ways to control the back, not make it go 90Â°.

Also, how can you talk about versatility out of the box? One set on a house shot that lets pretty much any ball walk to the hole from multiple angles doesn't tell us anything. AverageJoe's videos already show that you have at least two arrows of angles to throw a strong ball on a house shot.

I know you have game. Do you have access to a video camera? I've been trying to think of a person to do a good video and you might be a good choice. I'd love to see some of the new releases either thrown on some different patterns, especially compared to other similar balls. Something that would show the difference between a Fury, a Cell, a Resurgence, a Buzzbomb, an LevRG... Something that would prove ball "A" is stronger off the dry than ball "B" or that ball "C" has what it takes on Shark while ball "D" doesn't. I know few people have access to a ton of different balls, a video camera, the time, available lanes patterns, etc., but that's the kind of video that could really help.

Strider,
I understand what you are saying about versatility on a house shot. If you re-read my post it states versatile to style.
This meant that I was able to hook it with a high rev rate and high tilt and it transitioned well.

I also took the rev rate down a notch and tamed down the tilt to play harder and straighter and again the ball responded well.

That is what I meant about versatile.

As far as polishing the ball. 1000 grit is a no no with my rev rate without polish and especially on a house shot for me. I use my polish on 95% of all my balls. 2000 abralon is the lowest grit I like without polish and that is on sport/PBA type patterns that are flatter and when I need to blend any wet/dry patterns.

I will be honest. I liked the Supernova alot but didn't really like the Supernova XP for my game. This ball makes the Supernova look tame. It is really that good.

I have thrown Widows,Furys,Zones and really liked them all alot but this ball really blows them away.

I bowled roughly 4-5 games with the ball after I drilled it on several different patterns. It was dominant on everything for me but the short patterns with super clean backends.

I will be working on some video in the future. It just might have to wait until July to get done. beans

One other thing....

I do like to think I have a little game. Top 20 in points in the PBA East the last season I bowled. Inducted into the Wyoming Valley USBC Hall of Fame this year at the age of 34. Youngest ever!! I have bowled on every pattern you can think of and have drilled 100's of balls for myself as well as 1000's for customers over the past 11 years. I know how to read the roll of a ball on a house shot or on the Shark,etc. Trust me when I tell you. This ball is different.
