BuzzSaw - Sacrificed for Science Research (Brief Update 5/22/06)
« on: February 22, 2006, 12:48:49 AM »
Well, I've got a research student working on a physics project of
mine to analyze, calculate, and experimentally measure some of the
rotational dynamics of bowling ball cores.

So, I'm sacrificing some of my Lane#1's to the cause. --sniff--
What we won't do to push science and understanding forward.

Anyway, here is an image of the inside of my Cherry C^2. Very interesting, eh?

Next step, to remove all but the core from both halves so that we can
conduct an experiment to determine the moment of inertia experimentally.

bump

  Something new.... http://www.lane1bowling.com/home/SUSRC.doc

Plus, the semester is coming to an end with finals currently underway. I am
beginning to finalize the materials, double check calculations, measurements,
etc... hopefully I'll have something more substantial to report soon. (That
is if I survive all 106 final exams I have to grade over the next two days.)
