Buzzsaw XXL VS. Hammer Sling Blade
« on: September 17, 2003, 02:03:12 AM »
Is this a good ball for dry lanes? I was thinking about this OR the Hammer Sling Blade for that part of my arsonal. Anyone that has used the XXL on dry lanes, please tell me if this is skid flip ball or not.

Also, whats a good price for the XXL. I found one NIB for $120 shipped.

Any comments would be appreciated.

Maybe I'm missing something, but since you're talking about dry lanes, where is it that the ball is going to skid?  Since there's little oil on the lane, the ball almost immediately encounters friction, which should negate any possibility of flipping on the backend.

I recently switched to the blades. I am very impressed by this line. I don't think you can go wrong with the blade series. BUT, from what I have heard about the sling (it is the only one I don't have) it may be to strong for dry/light conditions.
