The C/2 cores with the Blueberry and the Emerald seem to "rev up" a bit sooner than the Cranberry. Overall boards of hook may remain a constant, however, the breakpoint location and shape differ slightly. For me, the BB seems to be a ball that loves to be used inside, DEEP inside, fourth arrow & left(for RH) inside with a great move to the head pin on a fresh house shot. A cranberry would be more of a third arrow-to-the-gutter ball for my leagues. I've found that with minimal hand position, speed, and lofting changes make this an incredible playable piece of equipment. The Emerald was incorrectly drilled for my style and I've got nobody to blame but myslef for that one. The Cranberry and the Golden Nugget have implemented the single offset nugget to create a delayed reaction. The Cranberry is Lane #1's replacement for the Blueberry. Lane #1 must think they've really got something with this new pill to abandon the BB with it's PK18 coverstock. At least with the Cranberry, Lane #1 was smart enough to keep the PK18 coverstock and match it to a familiar core.

Not all great shots result in strikes and not all strikes are great shots.
