Interested to venture into the saw world
« on: November 12, 2003, 06:30:48 PM »
Hi there, I'm a stroker, mid revs mid-low ball speed (takes approx 2.3-2.4 seconds to hit the pins), pretty low track but not as low as a spinner. (Sorry for the little ambiguity, coz I'm "sort of" new to bowling and not as familiar with the terminology). Averaging 160-170 with an old brunswick danger zone. I have heard recommendations from friends who own saws that I should start off with a Silver Diamond drilled label leverage as it is very versatile. As always, I'm always seeking for more opinions. Which saw should I get and what drilling (for general purpose conditions). Thanks for any feedback offered!

let me amend my post, please . . .

both the silver diamond and the blueberry have powerkoil 18 coverstocks.

the only appreciable difference i see between the two in the stats is that the differential is slightly higher with the blueberry.

i've never seen a dulled up silver diamond . . .

at any rate, i'll stick with my opinion that the blueberry is probably more versatile . . .
