Title: Call from Chuck at Lane 1
Post by: Nicanor on March 10, 2008, 08:17:22 AM
I received a call to my surprise from Chuck at Lane 1 today.  I talked to Ritchie last week and he said they would plug the balance hole and re-drill the balance hole to get rid of the 3/4 bottom weight that we talked about.  It was great of a Lane 1 rep like Chuck to call me and let me know whats going on without me having to do a follow-up phone call or email.

I'll throw the old Buzzbomb first, then Chuck recommends I call and talk to Ritchie before drilling the second (new ball) ball.

Not every ball matches up with every bowler I'm sure, but customer service like this is hard to find.

It is the reason I stay associated with this company. They treat me like gold.  Much better than they have to...

Thanks Richie....

But I see we can't go an entire thread without someone taking a jab at a Lane#1 fan...

None the less, their customer service is second to none and they always go way out of their way to help.

I think it is our fault that we acknowledge them.  All we need to do is just ignore them

Unlike you two who I do not recognize, Beans is a longtime respected poster in ALL the forums and I know he can take a little friendly ribbing.
I don't judge bowlers by the equipment they use,but rather,by the skills and knowledge they possess.
How a bowler chooses to spend their money is none of my business no more than my post to Beans is yours.
But thanks for your four cents.

P.S.
Before you label me as Lane 1 basher I invite you visit the Lane 1 web site and scroll the wall of fame. You will find I was the 26th bowler to post a 300.That was back in '99.I'm curious where you two fall on that list.
I have long been aware of Lane 1 products and their services.Back then when you bought a ball it was shipped directly from Lane 1's warehouse. When the occasion arose that I did not receive the correct ball the error was quickly corrected at no cost to me.Excellent service then and now.
GTX I would welcome a spot on your ignore list as up to this point I cannot recall a single post of yours that offered me an iota of insight to improving my game.
