Where's My RA #?
« on: March 06, 2008, 07:51:19 AM »
Since everyone is returning bowling balls, I have these 2 HRGs that read the lane at 60 feet and don't hit 20% harder. I left more 2-10 combos in 10 minutes than anyone in the history of mankind. I contacted Guinness World Records and they are checking into it for me...

Here is the video for reference:

Do I have a bottom weight issue?

until the Quantum series, all cores basically were floated in the shells, not truly centered, meaning that there was an offset influence in the balls, creating a mass bias of sorts.
All cores today are not truly centered, this creates a pin out as well as top weight..!! What point are you trying to make with this statement..?

Also, what are you trying to say with "all cores basically were floated in the shells"..?

Yeah, the Quantums came with basically no top weight because they were centered so much and they sucked when they came out..!!

quote:
The only way these can be true statements, as well as true tests, you have 2 bowling balls that are exactly the SAME, thrown down the lane and proven on CATs that they are reacting the same and then adjusting with a hole or surface. When you say that a kicked CG over a stacked CG works, how do you prove this?
Wasn't Brunswick's video good enough for you..? Let me see...

The issue with most steatements is that they are referenced by a visual confirmation. To merely say that one ball reacted when another didn't, is not a actual, perfectly true statement. You are relying on a personal visual assumption.
quote:
but the "tests" produced are only eye tests and do not produce any measureable results to show a statistically significant difference or indifference in reaction between balls.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME..? WOW..!! DO YOU KNOW HOW TO KEEP SCORE IN BOWLING..?

In BigB's video... the positve CG struck 2 out of 4 (50%) of the time and the negative CG struck 4 out of 4 (100%).

Both balls definitely reacted the same to me..!! =:^D

T-God, I will have to disagree on this one. The Quantum line of balls is my all time favorite with the Forest Green Quantum at the top of the list, so they didn't suck for me and I have several friends that threw Quantums and they didn't suck for them either. I bowled my best back in the days of the Quantums. They were a perfect fit for the oils and lane conditions back in the 1990's.
