Carbide LRG
« on: November 03, 2005, 04:03:08 PM »
I was wondering if the Carbide LRG would be a good replacement for my Vertigo. Any comments are appreciated.

Thanks

Solid Uranium should be close.  Both have agressive solid coverstocks and similiar rg's just the vertigo having a higher diff. meaning more flare/hook capability but not much, overall I would say thats going ot be the closest current ball.

In my mind the LRG is the best oil ball ever made.  You won't see big hook (big surprise) but you will see roll, roll, roll, hit.  If I thought that I'd ever see really heavy oil I'd be all over this.  To me this ball probably best exemplifies what Buzzsaws are all about.

Original Super Carbide was the best Oil ball ever made in the Lane#1 line.  The LRG is the best all around med-hvy oil ball.  I still have (5) NIB! because I love them. If you ever get a hold of one and have a lot of hand.. Try the pin 1" from the PAP with the CG towards the centerline. I have shot 800 twice for 3 games on PBA patterns with this layout.  Beans

These are all great balls as I have had all of them but the Buzzsaws will last longer. The coverstocks of the Vertigo (Although Resin) have been known to die around these parts...Dallas Metrolplex!
