Carbide Plus 300 Game out of the box!!
« on: May 27, 2006, 03:45:26 PM »
Drilled the Carbide Plus up on Friday before my summer league and shot 225-300-268-793 first night with it. I like this ball alot as it compliments my Enriched perfectly.  Beans

Bah... everyone is so predictable on here.  Who needs to know how the ball was drilled.  LOL

How big of a wall did you shoot it on Tom?

i shot it on the biggest wall in the country...Chacko's in wilkes-Barre

The CG is on my Possitive Axis.  I have a high rev rate and high axis tilt so for me I saw a very smooth predictable reaction like I do with most of my Lane#1 Solid particles..

It was on a wall but I have (39) 300's and 17 of them were with Urethane stuff in the 90's and I also have a PBA and ABC Sport 299 game. I do not shoot scores on easy conditions too often because I don't bowl in leagues to often for that reason. I am a carrer 205ish PBA Regional player. So I hope that answers your question. 240+ on a house condition so that is the difference.  Thanks  Beans

By the way, I am not looking for props here. I was just posting that I had success with the Carbide Plus right out of the gates. I actuall feel a little embarrassed when I shooot honor scores on easy conditions. That is just me though.

Thanks Beans.
I have a Solid Uranium drilled CG Axis. When there is enough oil, it works very nice. Light or short oil, and it just burns.

The reason I asked about drilling was because I have my Carbide Plus drilled Label 1:30, and it plain sucks. I have other diamond core Lane #1 balls drilled as such, and they work very well. I was actually thinking of going CG Axis on this one, but changed my mind while we were measuring the ball. Plug it, I will. Drill CG Axis, I must!
