Stupid comparision question
« on: November 17, 2005, 06:27:02 AM »
I just bought a Tsunami. I also have an Absolute Inferno. I got the Tsunami because I thought it would be a little weaker than my Absolute, but now it seems as if it is stronger than people expected it to be. I know drillings has a lot to do with it, but I was wondering, if I drilled the Tsunami the same as my absolute, which cover would be stronger. I know it is hard to compare to different companies (even though brunswick covers) but if someone could give some kind of idea it would be greatly appreciated.

I have Tsunami in box condition, and an Absolute in box condition.  The Absolute is about five to seven boards stronger than the Tsunami overall.  In fact, the Tsu fits perfectly between my Zone Classic and Rampage (both also in box condition).

Actually, the Ab and Tsu would make a great two-ball combination;  I've found that the Tsu can handle quite a bit of dry, and that it is *great* at recovering from deeper inside lines.

BC,

Thats exactly what I bought it for. I had just been reading some post and thought maybe it was stronger than planned. I will probably drill it a little weaker than my Absolute and then I should be covered.

I only have the Tsunami, but it is not as agressive as most think. Mine has quite a bit of skid as well (3" pin...pin below ring and cg out). My H2O seems to be a little stonger (although it is a short pin with a 3-3/8 stacked drill).

When the lanes are drier, weaker balls hook more than stronger balls on the backend. This makes them seem stronger than they really are on oil. =:^D

put the pin over bridge and cg out. You shouldnt have a problem then.
