........you heard it right. Dont get me wrong i love my Cherry Bomb, and had alot of good times with my Uranium and Nugget...hell ive even shot my highest set to date with my liberator(right off the drill press i might add). But after buying a GForce Solid and having problems with it (could not get it to clear the heads at all, even polished or on oil. ) I started to think about it. So recently the time came for need of a new ball since i moved up to 15lb and had only my Cherry Bomb. Now here the sad part. Nothing in the new line up stood out and said try me. So i bought a 2nd Dimension. And I love it. And not only that, there has been quite a few people who have joined the F.O.S masses ,esp. on there forum, which quite honestly annoy the piss out of me. So it is with sadness that i must say, i dont think ill be buying another L1 product for quite some time.......man i miss the days with Big B......

whats wrong with more saw heads ?

im semi new over there and i could take it that you mean me w/ your annoy the piss out of me comment.

without new saw heads saw land goes away

why not step up and be an old timer ?

nothing wrong with more sawheads. theres plenty wrong with people who cant type a complete sentence. let alone make sense. Im not a hardcore grammar nazi, but there are a few over there who are really irritating. or people who decide to list ever ball they have owned for the past 20 years and it takes up a whole page with one post. and your not semi new lol youve been there over a year. most of these peeps im talking about have been there less then 8 months.
Then theres the detractors such as JLS. It's just too much a pita to deal with these people because i throw lane one.
And lets not even go there about postwhores.........

You don't know how or when to use caps to start a sentence. And wtf is a "pita" "then theres" "cant" "ever ball"

And you say others are irritating?

Your post gives new meaning to the term, poor grammar.

Now I'm no English Major, but you make me look good.

Now it's probably getting near your bed time. So make sure you go pee pee on the toy toy. We don't need any accidents. And since you probably still suck your thumb while sleeping, please do yourself a favor and wash your hands after you pee on them.

I don't throw only Lane #1. I mix it with Storm stuff because the coverstocks are so different that I can get different looks out of mixing the arsenals.

Maybe that's what you need to try. Or, stick with the Big B-poured stuff until it absolutely runs out. You can still find good used Brunswick-covered Lane #1 all over eBay.

Like you, I'm starting to struggle a bit with the newer stuff. Since the changeover to 900G, I've had two balls that I like: The HRG (which is actually pre-900G Columbia stuff) and the XXXL Starburst, which is plastic and I think made overseas.

I've recently discovered that Visionary complements my Storm and Lane #1 gear nicely as sort of a bridge from rolly (Lane #1) to angular (Storm). Oddly, the angular Lane #1 stuff that's out there doesn't do much for my game.

If you don't have the chance to buy a lot of gear, though, I can definitely understand where you're coming from, because it that case you definitely need to get a benchmark piece that works for you on a lot of different conditions.

Having said that, the next person that steps up and says "I loved the G-Force Solid" will be the first, in my experience. I've not heard a lot of love for that ball.

Dont let the idiots drive you away from this good company cause in all reality all that matters is you knock all 10 down and if lane 1 is doing that for you then throw saws if it isnt doing it for you throw the ball that does. Lastly I do agree JLS really does need a new hobby as this is getting very old very fast.

I agree with AK here....a lot of the newer stuff is just as good as the Blueberry/ Cherry Bomb days but they do need to be tweaked a bit.

Remember one thing...when Brunswick would finish off a ball for Lane 1 it would be 400 grit followed by Rough Buff and polish if needed. That is a lot more surface than anything 900G uses. This willl cause a big difference out of the box.
