ChainSaw
« on: November 18, 2008, 03:13:42 PM »
Is it a polished pearl or a polished solid? Lane #1 calls its cover Skid/Hook which kinda implies a pearl but in person it looks like a two colored polished solid. Anyone know which it is?

not a high gloss polish I can say that. I would say like a sheen finish.

Its nice to see a slightly modified version of the Comet Pro make its way into production.

Not even close to a Comet.

The core is smaller and the cover is milder.

The Comet had the regular size Diamond with the top cut off. It still had perimiter weighting. The Chainsaw has about 1.50 inches of flip block cut off of each side. It is almost like a ball in a ball. I think the Chainsaw is smoother off the friction than the Viper and the Comet.

If the next ball in this series isn't called the "Chainsaw Massacre" then Lane #1 doesn't have a hair on its ***.

Interesting Beans.....my Chainsaw and CometPro matchup 99% identical in the reaction department.  It is BY FAR the closest thing Lane 1 has put out to a CometPro in my opinion.  Of course, I am not the Lane1 guru either.

D..
It is that case of balls looking different on paper and having different numbers but looking very similar to other balls on the lane for certain players.

Although,
I never did have a Comet Pro...

Never the less.....
The CHAINSAW is money and really fits a void in the entire industry for dry lane control.
