Drillwizard or Doug Sterner through this site.

golfnut is correct. No one sells Lane 1 cheaper than they do.

I have them for $179.00

I got mine for $115, because my mom gets discounts and stuff for working at my home house.

Nizzo, you mean to tell me that your proshop
will sell your mom a ball at a loss of about $50?
Man I wish I were that lucky. Maybe if she had some
unused credits or vouchers or credit at the shop then I could
see it. But the way it stands now Drillwizard and Doug Sterner
don't even get the balls for that and they are the top and the third biggest sellers of Lane #1 products in the world. I just cannot see ANY shop
selling for a loss.

Buzzhead my mom gets a % discount of balls from the owner and we also had a 30 doller gift certificate that i won in a league for comming in 4th or something. The price the proshop sells it for is about 180 and my mom getts a discount which bring it down to 145 and with the gift certificate the price goes down to 115. But i used my gift certificate so now i would only be getting the discount that my mom gets for workign there.

Nizzo, even though you may be truthful about this, I still have a hard time believing what you have said because, a lot of companies, employers, etc, give employees discounts, but it NEVER comes off the wholesale price causing the company/employer to take a loss selling an employee merchandise.

The Pro at the golf course I work for gives me an unlimited amount of golf balls I need during the season... he pays $28 a dozen for Pro V1's and I get them for nothing. It happens all the time.
-
The Pro at your golf coarse gets the balls for free. Sometimes from the Distributor and sometimes from the sales rep so the balls he gives you are not costing him anything nor is it money out of his pocket to give you these balls....Just like my local Pro Shop, he gets things free such as various ball cleaners, various ball polishes, white tape, black tape, and so on also from the sales rep, the distributor, and so forth. He gives me some of these things at no cost to me and it is no loss to him......So no, it doesn't happen all of the time. It simply doesn't happen.

I'm not gonna argue with you lol. I put in the orders for the ball half the time so I think I would know if he gets them free or not. Maxfli gives him free stuff because he's on their staff but Titleist does not, he just has an account with them. So yes... it DOES happen. Maybe he feels bad for me being underpaid as an assistant pro but nonetheless he DOES pay for them out of his own pocket.

I thought a Uranium was a steal at a buck-fifteen and then it turns out that this guy's got Pro-v's comped by the dozen. At least you're given every opportunity to excel at each respective sport.

Drillwizard is 174.00 shipped i think his email is kidace@aol.com i got mine two weeks ago with perfect specs and the ball is good ball on medium to light mediums. I like it but since i shot 710 with golden nugget i think the uranium will be collecting more dust until game 3 most nights lol
-
All you people crack me up. There is no way that anyone can charge those prices and make any money. $174 shipped is ballpark for first order customers but the well runs dry and everyone has to charge the same amount. This is why I do not sell anything online anymore because of price gouging. I refuse to work for free. I will answer any questions about any Lane#1 ball that is messaged to me and offer a fair price on NIB balls. Thank You Beans

Nizzo-read the original post. Unless your mommy
can help him get a ball for that price, you have
wasted everyones time. You also should have saved
your gift certificate for English tutoring.

Jimmy T, you are entitled to your own opinion, and you obviously don't take time to read other posts I make. I said the proshop I got my uranium at it was 180. That is what the owner would of charged anybody that wanted to order a Uranium. And if anyone wanted to order from the proshop I would of given them an address etc.
Now when it comes to the English tutoring, I do not appreciate that, I understand that my spelling might not be perfect but this is not a graded assignment so it does not have to be perfect. I highly doubt everybody else here types with no errors. Anyways I'm done here.

Giving a guy a discount like this isn't unheard of in business. It's similar to a grocery store taking coupons for an on sale item. Granted, it is a higher price bracket than orange juice, but you get the point. If the guy got a deal, I say congrats. I'm not gonna sit here and say ooh you're a liar like a 2 year old. Good work should be rewarded, discounts are just one way to do this. Now, as far as comp golf balls go, whoever is sending I'll give you my address.

With that said, it's safe to say you might have around $200 invested in one of those outrageously expensive and overpriced Lane #1 monsters. Can you guys believe that...???...$200....???..for a high performance ball, drilled, with grips and a thumb slug..??
What on Earth is this world coming to...?

Well 230 or Bust, at my pro shop, a Storm Fear Factor complete with drilling, slugs, grips, and sales tax is $249. The last time I looked, $249 is more than $200.

Same here, when I got my X-Factor, the guy who runs the pro shop wanted to charge me $240, I was like, "FVCK THAT!" but even when he gave me a "discount" it was still $210. I dont think I am going back to that pro shop.

AM not A CHICK OF BOWLING but I wanted to be in Manda's clique
And why would I "saw" pins in half, THATS A WASTE OF PINS! I'd rather blow it over with my storm, and 21mph ball speed on dry shots.
-
I paid $200 total for my Uranium which included drilling, slug, and grips.

What's your point? You got your Uranium at Doug's, not your local proshop. If everyone would stop comparing Lane#1 online pricing with a brick and mortar proshop's price on other balls, maybe the "Lane#1 costs too much" arguements might disappear. I'm not picking on you Brickguy; I'm just tired of that defense.

I agree with strider just quit already. Damn it's $170 here in our town. Which isn't but $15.00 more than most other companies balls in our town. It's plain and simple either buy that ball are keep quiet. I don't see this crap posted on every other manufactures balls site on BR.

Strider, there is no defense. It is facts. FYI you can buy at my local Pro Shop right now an Uranium complete with drilling, thumb insert, finger grips plus tax for $215. That is still less than $249 for a Fear Factor.

Singer, the reason you don't see this crap (as you call it) posted on any other manufacturers site is because no one sits around and complains about the prices of their balls like you people do with Lane 1. You can bet your life that if everyone critized other manufacturers balls, people like your self would be sticking up for your ball company just like people that like Lane 1 balls stick up for Lane 1.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Strider & Singer,
To sum it up, if all of you people would keep your mouths shut and quit critizing Lane 1 balls and Lane 1 prices, you wouldn't hear a peep out of people such as my self. Try it and see.....

Perfect. I have no problem with that comparison. Almost every other one given (including your earlier one) compares apples to oranges. Online Buzzsaw vs. other high end equipment at a local shop.

Ya gotta learn how to use quotes; makes it easier to read.
Also, where do you see me critizing their equipment or prices??? Do a search and find where I said where they make bad equipment or cost too much. I tried a few, didn't care for them, but don't mention it unless asked. I don't rip on their prices. If it works, buy it. You don't need to justify it to anyone.

Strider, what you've got to understand is that a lot of Pro Shops don't sell Lane 1 balls. Mine neither until Monday of this week of which I just found out about around 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon..... Prior to that, the only choice was to order my Lane 1 balls on line. Others on this site that quote prices have the same situtation with their local Pro Shops not carrying Lane 1 balls. I've heard them say so. Regardless of whether you agree or not, comparing prices of on line bought balls to local Pro Shop prices on balls they sell, is definitely justified as far as I am concerned, thus making it comparing apples to apples.
